Hi, I’m Rosan!

I’m an Illustrator and Animator based in The Netherlands. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. During my teen years I filled sketchbook after sketchbook. At the age of 14 I discovered digital art. One thing led to another and I enrolled in a pre-education Art & Design program at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem.

There I learned much more about the diversity of art. From there I decided to major in Art and Design in Education. Allowing me to teach about art anywhere, from the classroom to museums. After four years and five internships of teaching classes and workshops, I graduated as an Artist Educator.

However, instead of directly teaching, I found that my passion lies in illustrating. Now that I am graduated I want to follow this passion. I redirected the art of teaching to the art of drawing, which have a lot in common. Now I use my knoweledge and skill to translate information into illustration.

I specialize in colourful and playful illustrations. I’ve always adored vivid colours and I wish to share this adoration. In a world that seems dull sometimes, I find that vivid colours bring back joy
